Turns out, its not that I don&#8217;t enjoy eating, but I don&#8217;t really typically understand what I&#8217;m looking for when I&#8217;m tasting something&#8230; furthermore, cooking is boring becuase I was always told that it was an art&#8230; well&#8230; no more&#8230;  Dirk, turned me on to this new show called &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.foodnetwork.com\/food\/show_ea\" target=\"_blank\">Good Eats<\/a>&#8221; on Food&#8230; Basically, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.foodnetwork.com\/food\/alton_brown\/article\/0,1974,FOOD_9782_1670865,00.html\" target=\"_blank\">Alton Brown<\/a> shows us all that cooking is a science &#8211; which makes my analytical brain understand cooking for a change&#8230; furthermore, when I saw <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/tg\/detail\/-\/0688102298\/\" target=\"_blank\">Shirley Corriher<\/a> on the show, I was sold&#8230; that woman is one smart cookie.<\/p>\n<p>You can read a Wired arcle about the show here:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wired.com\/wired\/archive\/12.06\/cooking.html\" target=\"_blank\">The Thermochemical Joy of Cooking<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Oh, and Dirk&#8230; thanks for insisting that I Tivo an episode of the show &#8211; you&#8217;re right &#8211; I love it. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So, everyone knows that I find both eating and cooking boring and otherwise a chore.
